Riko: Nice to meet you. I'm Riko Sakurauchi, and I'm a second year at Uranohoshi Girls' High School. Riko: That being said, I haven't been a student here very long. I'm a fresh transfer from Otonokizaka High. Riko: Ever heard of Otonokizaka? It's a high school in Tokyo that's famous as the birthplace of the school idol group μ's. Riko: Oh, but don't think I'm some kind of trendy city girl. It's just the opposite. I'm quite plain. As you can probably tell. Riko: Sure, I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to singing and dancing, but I'll make up for it by busting my butt at each and every rehearsal. Riko: In all truth though, I'm still a little unsure about whether or not a girl like me can become a school idol. Riko: But Chika is simply incredible. Whenever she's around, everyone seems to start smiling. It's like she gives people courage. Riko: So I'm going to put those uneasy feelings away and start running alongside everyone towards our dream of becoming school idols! Riko: *Chuckle* I can't remember the last time I felt so upbeat about anything! Riko: Maybe here in Uchiura, I'll find a new side of myself! Hehehe. I look forward to meeting everyone!

I'm Nervous (Aozora Jumping Heart R)

Riko: Whew… It's almost time for the show. Riko: We've all practiced as best as we could, but I just can't help but feel nervous. Riko: I wonder how µ's felt before they performed. Did they get nervous like us? Riko: I wish I'd learned more about being a school idol while I still lived in Tokyo… Oh, well. Nothing I can do about it now. Riko: Still, Chika and Ruby have taught me a lot. Riko: There are lots of girls all over the country who love school idols, and want to become idols themselves. Riko: A hands-on tank… with sea cucumbers? Riko: Oh, I'm sorry. I guess I'm not really comfortable touching a sea cucumber. Riko: N-No, I've never actually touched one before, but I'm sure I wouldn't like it. Riko: I appreciate the offer but sorry. Maybe next time? There are supposed to be penguins, and I love penguins. Riko: To be honest, I wish I liked sea creatures as much as everyone else in the group. Riko: I live in Uchiura now, so I'm bound to encounter marine life a lot more often. Hopefully, I can slowly get used to being around all these creatures. Riko: Oh, I've got an idea. What if I back away from the tank, and start by drawing them, instead? Riko: Making friends with everyone in Aqours has done wonders for my self-confidence. Riko: Of course, it's because they're all such nice people. But the fact that I managed to make friends in a town where I didn't know a soul really gave me a boost. Riko: I hope I can get over my fears and make friends with the sea creatures, too! I'll do my best to get there, a little bit at a time.
