December 31, 2017

  • Chapters 19-1 and 19-2 of the Aqours story have been added
  • New New Year's-themed cards have been added to Aqours premium recruitment: UR Kanan, SSR Dia, SR Riko, SR Yoshiko, SR Ruby
    • There is a higher chance of obtaining these cards until January 5 (base SR/SSR/UR obtain rate does not change)
  • April 2017 Aqours cards (Animal) have been removed from premium recruitment; they can now only be obtained from limited & voucher recruitment
  • One new N card (Kikuchi Akemi) has also been added to regular recruitment, as well as the event reward N Miyashita Coco

  • More of the new musical instrument-themed cards have been added to µ's premium recruitment: SSR Eli, SR Rin

December 19, 2017

  • The Touring Rally Round 3 event will begin on December 20 at 4 PM and run until December 31 at 3 PM JST; there will be maintenance for one hour before and after the event
    • This is a special event in collaboration with Izu-Mito Sea Paradise
    • Some songs will have an Ucchichi icon beside it. Tapping it will get you extra souvenirs.
  • There will be 18 songs in total in each difficulty, 6 for each attribute
  • Event point rewards include SR Sakurauchi Riko (Planetarium), R Yamauchi Nanako, Mito Sea Exchange Ticket, special backgrounds; event point ranking rewards include SR Kunikida Hanamaru (Planetarium) - see event page for details
    • The Mito Sea Exchange Ticket can be used to exchange for special SSRs featuring the outfits from Koi ni Naritai AQUARIUM

    • There will be 9 stages in Easy/Normal/Hard/Expert, 10 in Technical
    • Event point rewards include SR Ayase Eli (Santa), R Miyama Satoko, R Sasahara Kyouko; event point ranking rewards include SR Yazawa Nico (Santa) - see event page for details
      • The SR Ayase Eli will have a new skill type
  • The following campaigns will also be active:
    • From December 8 at 3 PM to December 11 at 3 PM JST, 8 Score Match stages will be swapped out with different ones (number of stages per rank will remain the same)
    • From December 11 at 3 PM until the end of the event, the Score Match stages from the beginning of the event will be added to the pool again, for a total of 18 stages in Easy/Normal/Hard/Expert and 20 in Technical

  • The Friendly Match Round 2 event will begin on November 20 at 4 PM and run until November 3 at 3 PM JST; there will be maintenance for one hour before and after the event
    • There will be 18 songs in total in each difficulty, 6 for each attribute
    • The following changes have been made for this event:
      • "Daily goal" has been renamed to "Everyone's goal"
      • Changes to the matching algorithm
      • Private matching changes:
        • The match can start as long as there are at least 2 people
        • All participants in the room can hit the back button to leave the room
        • The copy ID button now also copies the room difficulty
        • If someone disconnects from the game, they will be forcefully removed from the room
  • Event point rewards include SR Minami Kotori (Military), R Miyama Satoko, R Sasahara Kyouko; event point ranking rewards include SR Toujou Nozomi (Military) - see event page for details
    • The SR Minami Kotori will have a new skill type

      • Stat up - For a certain period of time, increases the Smile/Pure/Cool points of specified members (doesn't stack with other skills of the same type, acts on the value after counting kizuna, center skills, and School Idol Skills)
    • Live-related improvements
      • You can now see the details of the song on the guest selection screen
      • You can now change live settings immediately before you start a live
    • New functionality for auto-selecting N club members to sell
      • This will not include members whose side stories have not been unlocked, locked members, a member who's been set as your partner, members with max kizuna, and members that have been added to your main unit

  • The Touring Rally Round 2 event will begin on September 5 at 4 PM and run until September 15 at 3 PM JST; there will be maintenance for one hour before and after the event
  • Tour the map with your club members to unlock and enjoy original stories!
  • NOTE: The event rules have changed somewhat and the updated rules are as follows (changed points highlighted in red):
    1. Gather event points and souvenirs by clearing the story and playing lives at Story Spots
      • There are 4 types of souvenirs in total and they can be used to exchange for rewards, including the event point reward SR
      • The exchange will be available until the next event starts, after which they will be automatically exchanged for 50 G each
    2. Unlock more Story Spots by clearing all of the missions at the previous spot and reaching a certain number of event points. The unlock conditions can be checked by long-pressing the Story Spot icon in the map area.
    3. Play lives at the Challenge Spots to participate in the score rankings. There are 3 spots, one for each attribute, and they will unlock as you clear Story Spots.
      • The song used for each Challenge Spot is randomly selected from a pool of songs used for each event
      • Playing lives at the Challenge Spots will give event points and souvenirs, as well as count toward the the Reward Box gauge
  • There will be 18 songs in total in each difficulty, 6 for each attribute
  • Event point rewards include SR Kunikida Hanamaru (Moon Viewing), R Miyama Satoko; event point ranking rewards include SR Tsushima Yoshiko (Moon Viewing) - see event page for details

  • The app has been updated to version 5.2
    • A new SIF ID account can be created and used to link your account and transfer between devices
    • You can now preview a background selection on your home screen
    • You can now play any live regardless of your max LP as long as you have enough LP
      • e.g. You are rank 100 and have a max LP of 75 and you want to play a 4x Expert live. Before the change, you weren't allowed to but now, as long as you have 100 or more LP, you can.
    • You can now use more than 1 Loveca stone at a time when increasing the maximum size of your club
    • You can now skip the kizuna results screen after a live by tapping the screen even if a voice is playing
    • The functionality to connect to a Bushimo account has been removed
    • Various UI and bug fixes

July 19, 2017

  • The Friendly Match Round 1 event will begin on July 20 at 4 PM and run until July 31 at 3 PM JST; there will be maintenance for one hour before and after the event
  • Cooperate as a team of 4 players to clear missions!
  • Event rules are as follows:
    1. Select a difficulty from the main event page to be matched with other players, and to see the song and mission.
      • There is also a "private match" option that will allow you to specify which players you want to team up with. The room will have an ID that can be used to join.
    2. Select the unit you wish to use to play the live. The more "Helping Power" a unit has, the easier it will be to clear the mission.
    3. The live starts after 3 other players have been found. The higher your team's total Helping Power is, the better the bonus that will activate.
      • You will be able to communicate with the other players with preset stamps before and after the live
      • If there are not enough players, you will be matched with CPUs
    4. When the live finishes, you'll be able to see if you managed to complete the mission for the song and your personal contribution. How close you are to completing the mission your personal contribution will determine the amount of events points you get. If you manage to overshoot the mission by a large enough difference, you'll get even better rewards.
    5. Throughout the event, there will be a daily mission that changes at 3 PM JST each day. Every player participating in the event contributes to this, and if the goal has been reached, then everyone gets rewards.
      • The rewards will be distributed to the participants' present boxes after the results have been finalized (after 4:30 PM JST each day)
  • There will be 18 songs in total in each difficulty, 6 for each attribute
  • Event point rewards include SR Koizumi Hanayo (Rock), R Yamauchi Nanako, R Sasahara Kyouko; event point ranking rewards include SR Minami Kotori (Rock) - see event page for details

  • The app has been updated to version 5.1
    • Added support for the new event type "Friendly Match"
    • You can now get push notifications when your LP is full
    • When you pause in the middle of a live, there will be a countdown when you resume before the music starts playing again
    • You can now see your event ranking on the main event page
    • You can now see the details (stats and skills) of cards sitting in your presents box by tapping their icon
    • The G limit has been raised from 4 billion to 1 trillion
      • If you have more than 10 billion, this will display in the UI as 9,999,999,999+
      • If you had any G that expired in your presents box because you hit the old limit before this update, it will be refunded to you at a later date
    • Various UI and bug fixes

  • Tour the map with your club members to unlock and enjoy original stories!
  • Event rules are as follows:
    1. Gather event points by clearing the story and playing lives in "free quests". Once you finish the story, you can play the live for event points as many times as you like. Gain bonus rewards by clearing song missions!
    2. Unlock more free quests by clearing certain conditions. The unlock conditions can be checked by long-pressing the quest icon in the map area.
    3. Take on the "challenge quest" to participate in the score rankings. This quest will automatically unlock after clearing chapter 1 of the story.
      • Free quests do not count towards the score rankings
      • The song used for the challenge quest is randomly selected from a pool of songs used for each event
      • Doing the challenge quest will give event points
      • Note that the challenge quest will not count toward the Reward Box gauge at the end of a live
  • There will be 9 songs in total in each difficulty, 3 for each attribute

        • Example: You log in for the first time in April on April 5. You will get the login bonus for the 5th day of the month, not the 1st
      • It will be possible to check the login bonuses for the month from the "Other" button in the bottom menu
      • Note: If you log in to the game on April 3 before the maintenance, you will still use the old login bonus system. If you don't log in on April 1 or April 2, and you log in on April 3 before the maintenance, you will not be able to obtain April 3's login bonus (you'll either get April 1 or 2 depending on if you've logged in one of the days or neither).

January 19, 2017

  • The app has been updated to version 4.2
    • A option for filtering and sorting songs has been added to the top right of the lives screen
      • You can filter by attribute, trophies, campaigns (e.g. increased gold), singer (unit/solo, etc.)
      • Note that the filters are separate for µ's and Aqours, i.e. you cannot filter and get songs from both groups
    • Feature to change a unit from the unit selection screen before a song - simply tap the member you want to change
      • This cannot be done in Score Match events
    • The LP/event token multiplier now persists between songs
    • You can now jump from the assignment to the screen you need to be on to complete it
      • e.g. tapping the button on an assignment that says to recruit 10 members from µ's regular recruitment takes you to the regular recruitment screen
    • You can now remove training partners for lessons directly from the confirmation screen
    • An option for selecting members without any kizuna points and school idol skills has been added to the auto-create unit function
    • You can now sort by time requested on incoming/outgoing friend requests
    • If you have reached the maximum number of friends, the popup after a live asking whether or not to send a friend request will not show up
    • Various UI and bug fixes

January 15, 2017

  • Chapters 7-3 and 7-4 of the Aqours story have been added
  • The rest of the new kimono-themed cards have been added to Aqours premium recruitment: UR Ruby, SSR Riko, SR Kanan, SR Yoshiko
    • There is a higher chance of obtaining these cards until January 20 (base SR/SSR/UR obtain rate does not change)
  • One new N card (Konoe Haruka) has also been added to regular recruitment, as well as the event reward N Saiki Fuu

January 14, 2017

  • Beginning in 2017, there will be special premium recruitment boxes that align with the birthdays of µ's members
    • During each period, there will be two boxes that contain only cards of that member
    • Step-Up Box: This box has three "steps", after which the box will be unavailable
      • The first 11-draw costs 30 loveca stones, and guarantees you at least one SR or higher
      • The second 11-draw costs 40 loveca stones, and guarantees you at least one SR or higher
      • The third 11-draw costs 50 loveca stones, and guarantees you at least one SSR or higher
    • Limited Box
      • This box works like the regular premium recruitment box
    • Hanayo's limited recruitment boxes will be available from January 16 to January 18

January 4, 2017

  • The Score Match Round 29 event will begin on January 5 at 4 PM and run until January 15 at 3 PM JST; there will be maintenance for one hour before and after the event
    • There will be 9 stages in all difficulties
    • Event point rewards include SR Ohara Mari (New Year's Food), R Sasahara Kyouko, R Miyama Satoko; event point ranking rewards include SR Tsushima Yoshiko (New Year's Food) - see event page for details
  • The following campaigns will also be active:
    • From January 8 at 3 PM to January 11 at 3 PM JST, 8 Score Match stages will be swapped out with different ones (number of stages per rank will remain the same)
    • From January 11 at 3 PM until the end of the event, the Score Match stages from the beginning of the event will be added to the pool again, for a total of 17 stages in each difficulty (1 stage will be playable throughout the entire event)
  • The following adjustments will be made starting with this event:
    • The amount of Score Match points (for score rankings) are being adjusted
    • LP will be depleted upon difficulty selection rather than the start of the song
